The City of Obetz Utilities Department will be performing utility work near the intersection of Orchard Lane and Groveport Road beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29.

To safely complete the work, a section of Orchard Lane between Groveport Road and Locust Street will be temporarily closed. Drivers will be directed around the closure using a temporary detour route.

On the accompanying map, the red markers indicate the road closure, while the yellow markers show the temporary detour route.

The Utilities Department expects the work to be completed and the roadway reopened before the end of the day. Drivers are encouraged to use caution, follow all posted signs and allow additional travel time while traveling through the area.
