The Finance Department manages the City’s financial operations to ensure public funds are handled accurately, transparently, and in compliance with law. The department develops and monitors the annual budget, processes payroll and vendor payments, tracks revenues and expenditures, manages cash, investments, and debt, and maintains the City’s accounting records. Finance also supports audits and financial reporting, helps departments plan and control spending, and provides clear financial information to City leadership and the public.
