The City of Obetz would like to inform residents and motorists of an upcoming road closure on Rohr Road as part of a planned roadway improvement project.
Closure Details
Rohr Road will be closed beginning May 4, 2026, and is expected to remain closed for approximately 60 days, weather permitting. The closure will impact Rohr Road from west of Bixby Road to Creekside Parkway.
Project Scope
This closure is necessary to complete a road widening project, which will improve traffic flow and enhance safety for motorists in the area.
Access & Limits of Closure
- Last address north of closure: 1735 Bixby Road
- Last address west of closure: 1570 Rohr Road
- Last address east of closure: Rohr Road & Creekside Parkway intersection
Detour Information
Eastbound Rohr Road Traffic:
Motorists traveling eastbound will follow the posted detour:
- South on Lockbourne Road
- East on London-Groveport Road (SR-317)
- North on Shook Road
- Back to Rohr Road
Westbound Rohr Road Traffic:
Westbound traffic will follow the same route in reverse.
Southbound Bixby Road Traffic:
Motorists traveling southbound on Bixby Road will follow the posted detour:
- North on Reese Road
- West on Rathmell Road
- South on Lockbourne Road
- Back to Rohr Road
