The Obetz Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on October 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Obetz Government Center located at 4175 Alum Creek Drive to consider a request from the owner of 4157 Orchard Lane for a variance to Obetz Codified Ordinances Sections 1171.04(c)(2) and 1171.03(c) to allow the replacement of the existing shed with a 10’x14’ shed that will be located in the same spot. The Zoning Code requires a 5’ setback from the property line. The existing shed is approximately 3’ from the property line. The Zoning Code also limits a property to one detached garage/shed. There are currently more accessory structures than permitted.
