The Obetz Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on November 12, 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Obetz Government Center located at 4175 Alum Creek Drive to consider a request from the owner of 2655 Rathmell Road for the following variances to Zoning Code: (1) Section 1171.03(c) to allow a second accessory structure. The Zoning Code limits a property to one accessory structure; (2) Section 1171.04(b)(4) to allow a 1500 square foot accessory structure. The Zoning Code does not allow a structure larger than 1080 square feet based on parcel size; and, (3) Section 1171.03(a) to allow an accessory structure larger than the primary structure. A copy of the above request can be reviewed at the Obetz Government Center during normal business hours.
