To keep the space safe and welcoming, please remember:

  • Wear non-marking shoes and appropriate gym attire.

  • No food, drinks, drugs, alcohol, or weapons.

  • Self-officiated games only — staff will not referee.

Violations may result in immediate removal from the gym.

Game Play & Capacity Guidelines

  • If 6+ people are present: transition to 3v3 or 5v5 games.

  • If fewer than 6, participants may opt for skill work or shoot-arounds.

  • Players self-organize teams and keep track using the whiteboard.

  • No team practices, rec leagues, or AAU sessions during Open Gym. Teams may inquire about private rentals to Kerri Doddroe at kdoddroe@obetz.gov.

Monitoring & Management

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety.

  • Address conflicts — not to officiate games.

If capacity is reached, a waitlist will be implemented.
